About Me
Kimberly Greene Royce
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I work with individuals, couples, and families (teens 12+), all by secure video.
I am a mother of five and a grandmother of two. My husband and I have a large family and a close circle we count as family. When I am not in session I read, paint, dance, hike, and practice yoga. I believe life is meant to be lived — not merely managed — and that even in a hard season there is still something worth turning toward. Faith is a backbone for me. It can be part of our work if it matters to you. It is never required.
I came to this field because people can get well without being rushed or shamed. Since 2011 I have worked in trauma settings, with people in recovery, and with families in the Folsom area. I opened my private practice in 2015. I know how to stay with crisis and with the quieter work that comes after.
“You do not have to know what to do yet. Coming as you are is enough for us to begin.”
How I practice
Some people need a short, focused stretch of therapy. Some need a longer relationship. We decide that together. I use trauma-informed, paced work — Brainspotting, CRM, EMDR parts-informed therapy, CBT and DBT skills, mindfulness, and somatic practice — chosen for you, not stacked in one hour.
